![]() Is this playable off line or does the skin shop make it single player online only? I live on a 40 acre farm, so I often look for games I can play offline. I jut didnt know it now also is in single player games. I personally would never drop a penny on pixels, after buying the game, but in multi player games, its better than pay 2 win. Warzone, Pubg, nearly every multiplayer game today has skins for sale, and I 100% rather see that over pay 2 win any day. Yeah I completely understand making money off skins. Again, this one might not be as bad as some in past games have been, but it still feels similar to how they were just trying to squeeze extra cash out of people with the last marvel game. In a genuine free to play title I can forgive it's existence, but in a full priced title it's a lot more difficult for me to be alright with that. Granted this one seems far better than the previous one since I THINK you can grind stuff out by doing missions as much as you want, but it wouldn't surprise me if some outfits were "spend cash" only.Īs for it in a single player game, one in particular you are paying full price or more for right out the gate, yeah I have some issues with that myself. ![]() For some reason, when launching Midnight Suns, the 2K launcher actively fights the game for resources like GPU and CPU.Originally posted by Ronin Gamer:Probably the same reason as the last marvel game, because disney wants extra money. Most of the time it’s an annoying half minute to see the launcher boot up and allow you to play your game, but that’s the end of the issue. Ubisoft, Bethesda, Origin, and now 2K, the list goes on. And each game company seems to have their own launcher now. If you play on PC, you most likely know this issue. Read on to find out why this is the case, and how you can bypass the launcher as well if you own the game on PC. ![]() Players have noted that by bypassing the launcher, the game performs much better. If the game is purchased through Steam, Midnight Suns is forced to first launch the 2K Launcher before launching the game. As it turns out, the 2K Launcher is to blame. ![]() Midnight Suns is not a graphically demanding game, even with ray tracing enabled, so it was a mystery as to why performance was so bad on PC. ![]()
